I had a look at it and I have to say, I don't know either what's going on
here. But there are some things which make me wonder.
You say you installed qt4 and aiksaurus from the slackbuilds repository.
Now the official version on SBo for qt4 is 4.3.1, not 4.3.3. Additionally
there's no aiksaurus in the repository.
There's also some curiosity about the log file you sent. There are some lines
which are probably of importance (compared them to my own build log)

checking for a BSD-compatible install... /bin/ginstall -c
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/ginstall -c

checking for a thread-safe mkdir -p... /bin/mkdir -p
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
checking for a thread-safe mkdir -p... /usr/bin/mkdir -p

It seems as if the links under /usr/bin are not working/recognized/etc.

On a sidenote:
You need neither boost nor aiksaurus to build lyx. I've built it fine without
them.

Since boost itself doesn't build either I suspect the problem somewhere on the
system. I also sometimes get Segfaults when links are wrong or missing.
