Yes, scroll down about 1/4 of the way through CHANGES_AND_HINTS.TXT on
your install media or any Slackware mirror. The kernel sources are
shipped configured for SMP,but you're using the non-smp kernel.
You'll need to fix the sources - further information is mentioned in
the link I referenced above.
