As of Slackware 12.2 I am no longer interested in maintaining the DevIL SlackBuild. Is anyone interested in taking it over?
As a side note, it looks like DevIL development finally picked back up. 1.7.3 is out, so hopefully no nasty patches should be necessary this time around.
