Hi,
i contacted the maintainer ~5 days ago about this.
He got on the IRC asking how he should update the SlackBuild but
he hasnt submitted an update yet. At least AFAIK.
The Slackbuild version is also long out of date and the application not 
maintained by Debian anymore.
