Since TMP is defined as in the scripts as TMP=${TMP:-/tmp/SBo}, you could 
easily call the script with TMP=/home/user/tmp/SBo ./prgnam.SlackBuild.

I usually do the same when vetting the scripts by 
running them as TMP=/tmp/SBo.user  ./prgnam.SlackBuild
