[Slackbuilds-users] some newbie questions

Hi,
the w3m slackbuild is only available in 12.2 repository. And for 13.1 i
needed to patch the script. Is the normal way to get it into the 13.1 repository
to write the maintainer and ask him if he agrees that i take over maintainance?
I would like to submit emacs-w3m, but w3m is a dependency for
that, so i think w3m needs to be in the same repository, doesn't it?
I submitted launchpadd and pd-extended. I found out that i made mistakes
in both slack-desc files. What if i just submit it once more? Will the
old files be overwritten, or do i have to ask someone to remove them?
And last question: pd-extended is actually the same like pd. It is an
older version of pd and comes with a bunch of plugins (also called
externals). Installing both can work, but i didn't test it, so not many
people will install both (if any). What should i do in this case?
(Pd-extended is never available in the same version than the
vanilla version of pd. There are a few good reasons for a few people
to run pd vanilla, but the mainstream user will work with pd-extended.)
greets
Felix
