[Slackbuilds-users] Evince browser

Dear all,
I built Evince from the Slackbuild and run it with Xfce. However, I see
that it does not accept external, i.e. web links - it simply says
"unable to open external link. Operation not supported."
Is this fixable, or is that the price od building a Gnome component
without Gnome support?
