   However, somehow, there was an old pdftk in /usr/local/bin. Since I've
installed pdftk only with the SlackBuild scripts I've no idea how it got
there, but it did.

   Now removed and pdftk works once again.

   I was looking for the library rather than other instances of the
application. Mea culpa!
