[Slackbuilds-users] eclipse issues and current(?)

for some reason the eclipse package on sbo requires webkitgtk whereas one
(forgot which packaging) from eclipse.org doesn't. this is fine but it
seems that the dependency tree is as such:

eclipse
-- jdk
-- webkitgtk
---- libwebp
---- gst1-plugins-base
------ gstreamer1
------- orc

i've installed all of these from sbo and it seems to make eclipse crash
quite a bit. i needed similar packages for building midori and i thought i
did something wrong but i've found that removing gst1-plugins-base fixes
the issue. i'm running slackware current and the issue coincided with an
update to seamonkey/firefox/thunderbird updates from last week so it might
all be related. i just wanted to share my findings in case there are other
eclipse users out there.
