I have 32-bit Slackware-current installed, along with a selection of
Slackbuilds packages. I want to get Wine up and running, but can't
seem to get its prerequisite Fontforge to work.
When I run the SlackBuilds script, I can see it unpack the
fontforge-20141126 tarball, then the freetype tarball... and then I
get:

I googled the first error, and found a suggestion to delete the
libltdl directory from the source tree. I edited the SlackBuilds
script to do that, and upon running the modified version, the script
kept going after that point - but then it errored out again, so it
seems that wasn't the right fix after all.
I'm not sure what's going on, or what further information might be
necessary to come up with a solution. Does anyone else know how to get
through this?
Thank you for your time,
