The new Ugene is out (version 1.17.0) and I checked how it builds. Well, it does not. The build fails with the following error:

/usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-slackware-linux/4.8.2/../../../../x86_64-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lprocps
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [../../_release/libU2Core.so.1.0.0] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/SBo/ugene-1.17.0/src/corelibs/U2Core'
make[1]: *** [release] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/SBo/ugene-1.17.0/src/corelibs/U2Core'
make: *** [sub-src-corelibs-U2Core-make_default-ordered] Error 2

Does anybody have an idea what the problem is? I have had trouble related to procps in the past:

However, Pat included the missing headers in the following Slackware release.
