Willy,

   I should have thought of this myself. Unfortunately, pgadmin3 wants
libwx_gtk2u_stc-2.8.so.0 and that's replaced when wxPython-3.0.2.0 is
installed. If it was possible to have both wxPython versions installed then
pgadmin3 would be happy. I suspect they share the same namespace, but will
check on that.
