Well, to be honest, I've been using sbopkg for over a year and only recently 
found out it had an ncurses interface, I always used it like this:

sbopkg -r
sbopkg -u
sbopkg -c
sbopkg -g <string_to_search>
sbopkg -s <package_name>
sbopkg -i <package_name>
