In a built package of qt5-5.5.0 I have left over from 14.1 days, the
"designer" executable is /usr/lib64/qt5/bin/designer. The installed
version will have a symlink to there at /usr/bin/designer (if it's like
5.6.1 on 14.2).

In qt5-5.6.1 on 14.2, examples are at /usr/lib64/qt5/examples but I
couldn't find these in my 5.5.0 from 14.1 (its too long ago to recall
whether they were explicitly enabled with EXAMPLES=yes). Documentation
files are in /usr/doc/qt5-5.6.1 for 14.2 and /usr/doc/qt5-5.5.0 for 14.1
(although the contents are quire different).
