i just tried to build i t manually and it does build fine
if you look at the SlackBuild, there's a different naming for the source

PRGNAM=youtube-dl
SRCNAM=$(echo $PRGNAM | tr - _)
.
.
tar xvf $CWD/$SRCNAM-$VERSION.tar.gz
