[Slackbuilds-users] Postgis not finding installed gdal

   Attempting to upgrade postgis to 2.4.1 fails during configuration:

checking for gdal-config... /usr/bin/gdal-config
checking GDAL version... 2.2.2
checking for OGR enabled... yes
checking gdal.h usability... yes
checking gdal.h presence... yes
checking for gdal.h... yes
  ...
checking for library containing GDALAllRegister... no
configure: error: could not find GDAL

   The script seems to find gdal-2.2.2 (the current SBo version) and the
header file. I don't understand how to fix this error and would appreciate a
pointer.
