you need to download that file too as it's needed by the SlackBuild:
look at the file fpc.info, it contains in the variable DOWNLOAD_x86_64
the url to the files you need for your architecture.


Doh!  I missed that file shown right there on the SBo page... I did download
it and now everything built fine, of course.  Sorry about the gaff, and
thanks Matteo!
