By "my branch" I assume you mean: https://git.slackbuilds.org/slackbuilds/tree/audio/mpd The newer mpd builds require "ninja" as well as "meson". Another way of fixing the problem is to revert the mpd version back to 20.18 which builds fine with "make" on Slackware 14.2 The latest version of mpd that builds with "make" seems to be 20.23 All the newer software builds from www.musicpd.org such as libmpdlient, mpc and ncmpc now require both mesa and ninja. Since Slackware current includes ninja and meson, maybe these new builds should be put in Slackware current instead of Slackware 14.2? I think he meant this https://git.slackbuilds.org/slackbuilds/log/?h=user/dive/updates if mpd needs meson and ninja putting just meson in the REQUIRES line of the mpd.info file should be enough, as ninja is a dependency of meson, so it should be already there when you will install meson to satisfy the mpd dependency. I've never used mpd, so I can't speak from that point of view, but I can't see a problem with it if we carry both ninja and meson anyway. Sorry about that. Stack traces like these are mainly of use to developers. I wasn't sure what sort of output you'd get when you ran Google Earth from a terminal, but I've found that when things go wrong, capturing output using script often helps with troubleshooting -- if only to prove that it was my own fault in the first place. :) Going through the stack trace, it looks like it's running into problems with the graphics stack when trying to do 3D rendering, which confirms that Jeremy Hansen told you. If you take his advice you'll probably have a better experience. -- Matthew Graybosch https://matthewgraybosch.com #include gemini://starbreaker.org gemini://tanelorn.city "Out of order?! Jeremy, I _think_ my Ryzen7 2700 is a 2nd gen version. Still, it's the potential time involved, which might leave me without access to mail and other tools, that puts me off. I've put up with my occasional uses of GE for 10 months now, I can continue to re-starting it for a while longer. I don't use it that frequently so it's a low priority issue. It's because the system is tightly linked with the backend on SBo infrastructure. Also, we have a secondary server running while the main server was being moved so the repository is still updated as you can see in this page: https://git.slackbuilds.org/slackbuilds/ Anyway the migration is completed now and we will reopen submission after i merged all changes back to master this weekend. -- Willy Sudiarto Raharjo -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Dan, Perhaps 10.10 is the most recent patch to 10.x but the current stable postgres release is 12.4. It builds with a version change to the SBo build script.
