[Slackbuilds-users] Proposal for build scripts

Hi all,

I agree with this as well as I tend to use the slackbuild scripts from 
time to time to build a different version of a package than the one that 
is currenly on SBo.

Being able to run a slackbuild like "VERSION=some.other.number 
./package.Slackbuild" is a great boon, but this functionality would be 
ruined if the slackbuilds themselves start validating the tarballs.
