Perhaps it wasn't clear:

$ ls /var/lib/pkgtools/packages/*setuptools*
/var/lib/pkgtools/packages/python-setuptools-57.5.0-x86_64-2
/var/lib/pkgtools/packages/python-setuptools_scm-6.3.2-x86_64-1
/var/lib/pkgtools/packages/python2-setuptools-scm-5.0.2-x86_64-1_SBo
/var/lib/pkgtools/packages/python3-setuptools-rust-0.12.1-x86_64-3_SBo

python-setuptools_scm-6.3.2-x86_64-1 (the stock Slackware package) is at version 6.3.2 and installs ONLY for python3.

python2-setuptools-scm-5.0.2-x86_64-1_SBo (the SBo package) is at version 5.0.2 and installs ONLY for python2.
