[Slackbuilds-users] rust16 status update

Hello, all,

rust16 has been stuck a couple of major versions behind -current for
some time now due to reverse dependency FTBFS. To ensure that version
updates for rust stuff can continue smoothly, a new script called
rust-opt will be available at the next public update, which will
install rust-1.81.0 to /opt/rust. rust16 will be removed when the
remaining scripts requiring version 1.79.0 have had new upstream
versions.

I'm currently testing a PR that would move all compatible scripts to
rust-opt (probably everything except for lean-elan and wezterm). The
commits can be found at
https://github.com/pghvlaans/slackbuilds/tree/rust-opt.
If you would prefer to retain rust16 as a dependency for your script for
the time being, please let me know within the next few days.
