It seems that the maintainer forgot to actually include the patch the 
script for 1.10.0 applies. The build system didn't catch it because it 
is only triggered by an optional variable.

This won't be fixed until the next update, so in the meantime, from what 
I can see, you can get this patch:

https://github.com/HandBrake/HandBrake/commit/deeae3462a852fc151e944c7c9512eca9509e092.patch

and rename it to "revert-gtk-4.6-switch.patch" for the build to work. I 
haven't tested this, this is just from reading the comment in the 
script. Also, contact the maintainer about this issue directly.
