[Slackbuilds-users] misc/beep work for anyone?

Just tried it on my laptops, nothing on both. The Thinkpad one does have 
a beeper (or at least emulates one) as it sometimes beeps when I bring 
the boot device menu in BIOS. Haven't had a proper desktop PC in years, 
maybe more chances for it to work there.
