The fix for that for 15.0 was to add -fcommon to the flags. Surprised
to hear that doesn't work any more on -current...

Yeah, I agree, broken and nobody's interested enough to spend the
time fixing, including its original author. It shall go away.
For now I'll just orphan it, with "broken" in the commit message.
In the future, there's going to be a process in place to automatically
remove old orphaned builds from the repo, after they've been orphaned
for X amount of time (90 days maybe). There are some kinks to work out
(like, what if the orphaned build has a non-orphaned dependee?) but
it's definitely going to happen.
