If you use them, you should take over maintenance.

We're going to remove orphaned builds in the future to reduce the
workload on the SBo admins. When they break (maybe just the download
URL went away, or maybe because we're tooling up for a new Slackware
release and they don't compile), *we*, the admins, have to maintain
those scripts.

Nothing wrong with that. But there needs to be a maintainer for such
software, someone who will respond to emails about it, and fix any
issues that occur.
