This appears to be correct and one person in the pidgin IRC channel
confirmed it does not work. It can remain removed. If it ever gets
revamped and works in the future, I'll grab it and re-submit it at
that point since it is very useful when it is working. Chasing the
Facebook APIs who are probably trying to squeeze out 3rd party
applications is probably a huge uphill battle.
