OK. Looks like I'm an exception for this. I'm looking forward to install a
complete desktop environment sporting XFCE and dbus/hal under the hood on
something like fifty machines (public computer rooms, libraries, ...) in the
near future, so I'd better let my doinst.sh do the job.
