[Slackbuilds-users] libgphoto2, plugdev, hal

Dear list,
now that hal is part of slackbuilds.org, why not generate hal-fdi files during installation of libgphoto2 (like udev rules, print-camera-list is also capable of generating hal-fdi and hal-fdi-device files), if hal has been installed.
Furthermore I would like to ask, if changing the group from camera, which is the default after installation of the udev rules, to plugdev (which has been added to -current), is a good idea. I would appreciate this, as users will not have to fiddle with a new group once current gets stable (or if they already have installed hal) and I do not see an additional security risk in changing group ownership to plugdev, as users of cameras which work as mass storage devices, never had any benefits of the group camera. Also, some other distros (like Debian) have recently changed the group ownership from camera to plugdev.
Greetings,
Michael Wagner
