As i can see, openproj is done in java, so you "should" install it in
/opt and make an script in /usr/bin to call /opt/openproj/openproj.sh,
if this is the case you can take a look into netbeans SlackBuild
(http://slackbuilds.org/slackbuilds/12.1/development/netbeans/) since
to me looks the same ;-)
