Oh, in case you wanted to try to do a git bisect:

You need to be in the NM_0_8_1 branch, and then:
  good: 80c16a1973c23e62cc07696168e03c93d0810253  (0.8.1)
  bad: 3115d77bf605076ce9c68f1502a583e6e769402c (0.8.2)

Then go from there :)
