sorry Dave,

have you built those from our git master? because I think some of the
stuff you report has already been fixed in master.

if you use sbopkg see http://pastebin.com/jRPYQsVL (or just clone the
repo "git clone git://slackbuilds.org/slackbuilds.git").

for error like the one lgi gives you, you should add this option to
/etc/wgetrc (needed for lot of github downloads)

content_disposition = on
