I think the j/k Miguel wrote means "joking"; as most media outlets
define bittorrent as the only way illegal downloads happen - the same as
they describe 'hackers' instead of 'crackers' when mentioning
scans/trojans/worms etc. (us slackers are all hackers!).
The press puts out wrong signals here and Joe Public (sheeple) believe it.
