Please check which shell is configured for postgres UNIX user, it
looks like you have /bin/false or similar instead of /bin/bash.
Did you use instructions from README (or pkgtool setup script) while
creating postgres user?
Note that package for PostgreSQL 9.3 should also install symlinks to
binaries in /usr/bin, if that's not the case, then something is wrong
with your PostgreSQL package.
