Actually, that's a good point. The thunar-archive-plugin source provides
thunar integration (.tap) files for ark and file-roller out-of-the-box
and does not need an archiver present to compile. Thus, technically, no
dependencies are needed. Ark and File-roller can be listed as an
optional run-time dependencies.
Xarchiver provides a .tap file for thunar/thunar-archive-plugin
capatibility. Since Xarchiver is not part of a default Slackware
installation, it should also be listed as on optional run-time dependency.
To summarize:
optional deps: Ark (part of Slackware), File-roller (on SBo), xarchiver
(on SBo)
