[Slackbuilds-users] nvidia-driver symlink glitch

On reboot, the symlinks for libGL* and libEGL* can end up being changed
to the "-xorg" versions, for example,

/usr/lib64/libGL.so -> libGL.so.1
/usr/lib64/libGL.so.1 -> libGL.so.1.2.0-xorg
/usr/lib64/libGL.so.1.0.0
/usr/lib64/libGL.so.1.2.0-xorg

This effects all the Mesa version that are replaced with Nvidia versions
(and COMPAT32). I am doing (or not) something screwy with ldconfig and
the work around is to simply, as root,

nvidia-switch --remove
nvidia-switch --install

As I am by no means an expect in this area, anyone with a better fix or
explanation?
