[Slackbuilds-users] Problems building xephem (3.7.7)

Hi all,

I have downloaded the xephem 3.7.7 package and it's build script,
unpacked  in the xephem dir (originally in the $HOME/andrea/Download dir
and then moved under /tmp which content is:

I know there are two files more than necessary: the original 
xephem.tar.gz which I always keep together with the source file and the
.log file which I created according to the instruction on SBo after
failing to obtain the desired package to install.

Actually the content of the log file is the following:

tar: Questo non sembra un archivio tar
tar: Passaggio alla prossima intestazione
tar: Uscita con stato di fallimento in base agli errori precedenti

which essentially says (for those who don't understand Italian) that it
does not recognize the tar archive as a tar file.

I'm new to the list so I'm not sure is a bug it may be that something
else but is the first time in several years I'm downloading software
from SBo that something doesn't work.
