Thanks everyone for your inputs. I've submitted an update which contains the relevant warning in the README. I also enabled the IMAGING & VIEWS options by default since they involve no additional dependencies. In fact the IMAGING option was already enabled in the SlackBuild despite the README stating it was off by default. chris
