Just out of curiosity... which libxml2 version is installed in your
machine?
I ran into problems with LibreOffice (an old version, 7.2.5.2, taken
from Alien Bob's repository) and the "new" libxml2 from Dec 10th. In my
case I couldn't open GPG-encrypted files.
As far as I could understand, this version has had also some nasty
effects in some (or many) SBo's. There was a thread about it here.
In my case, today's version of libxml2 (2.11.6, for Slackware 15.0) had
solved all issues noticed so far.
