Just my 2 cents on this: Why not add a file "$PRGNAM.$arch.info"
or something like this to scripts which are supported for the
respective architecture by their maintainers? These files would contain
the DOWNLOAD_$arch and MD5SUM_$arch lines (or maybe even REQUIRES in
case they differ?) for the respective architecture, just read this file
after the normal info file. No tool could break because the info files
suddenly contain new lines.
