I keep a (usually out of date) mirror on my site, but
it's mainly there for "just in case" purposes.  I'm
not aware of any "real" mirrors, and to be honest,
I don't see much of a need.  With that said, I don't
think we'd discourage a mirror, but we're not going
to encourage it either.  A bunch of mirrors would make
our sites stats less indicative of how much activity
we have.
