They look great indeed, in usual UIs. In the terminal though, I still
prefer Terminus -- well actually, IMHO Source Code Pro looks ugly in
terminal.

Roboto only has Sans version, so there's little chance it can replace
Droids.

Anyway, you may want to adapt your SlackBuilds to recent changes. Better
look at SBo templates git repo. For example, a license is required for
new SlackBuilds I believe.
