Yes, and *thank you* for pandoc-bin. I have several builds that use
pandoc to generate a man page... the man page might be 1 or 2 KB, and
it seems ludicrous to have pandoc as a dependency. It actually has 196
dependencies, which might as well be 10 million.

Most of the time, what I do is install pandoc-bin on my dev box,
generate the man page, then include the man page in the SlackBuild so
there's no dependency even on pandoc-bin.

IIRC, a FreeBSD port is a build from source, and a pkg as a prebuilt
port? SBo has never provided prebuilt packages, and that's unlikely to
ever change.
