[Slackbuilds-users] libgit2 upgrade

I put together a slackbuild for jujutsu
(https://jj-vcs.github.io/jj/latest/) that I wanted to submit, but
unfortunately it depends on libgit2 v1.9.0, and sbo currently has
version 1.8.4. I tried contacting the maintainer, but unfortunately
couldn't get in touch. I was wondering if it would be ok to take over
the package? I already have the update ready to go.
