Indeed.
Just make a note in the README along these lines:

  ####################################################################
  ATTN SBo ADMINS:
  The cvs/svn/git/whatever snapshot used to build this will need to
  be hosted on the SBo server.
  Don't forget to delete this note.
  ####################################################################
