[Slackbuilds-users] FYI on SlackBuild Recoll

Hi,

The SlackBuild page for Recoll has a note indicating:
As of the time of writing, recoll depends on version
0.9.10 of
xapian-core, the newer 1.0.0 release does NOT work
with this version of recoll.  Else no
incompatibilities are known.

The update I would like to share is that Recoll
installed without any problems on Slackware 12 using
the newest versions of Recoll and xapian-core.

I used recoll-1.10.0.tar.gz instead of
recoll-1.8.1.tar.gz.  I edited the SlackBuild script
to reflect the updated program version number.

I used xapian-core-1.0.4.tar.gz instead of
xapian-core-0.9.10.tar.gz.  I edited the SlackBuild
script to reflect updated version.

The following were unchanged from Slackbuilds:
- Source:  unrtf_0.20.2.tar.gz
- Source: antiword-0.37.tar.gz 

I haven't used recoll before yesterday.  So far I love
it!
