Recently I upgraded Python3 from the 3.5 series to the 3.6 series, yet
/usr/lib/ still has a python3.5/site-packages/ tree rather than a
python3.6/site-packages/ tree.
I tried installing an application requiring PyQt5 and it could not find
it:
Checking dependencies...
Python Version 3.6.0 -> OK
PyQt not found -> Sorry, PyQt 5.4 or higher is required and must be built
for Python 3
Installed here are:
python3-3.6.0-i586-3_SBo
python3-PyQt5-5.6-i486-1_SBo
python3-sip-4.18-i486-1_SBo
Please point me to the resolution of this problem.
Rich
